Buying a home in Val Vista Lakes
These are the details I walk through with every client before we write an offer here.
- Plan for home age. Many homes are 30+ years old. Look closely at roof, plumbing, electrical, and AC age, and budget for updates.
- Lakefront vs. off-lake. Water views come with a price difference and lake rules. Compare both before deciding.
- Two layers of HOA. Many subdivisions have their own association on top of the master HOA. Add both to your monthly cost.
- Gated sections. Some subdivisions are gated, with their own dues and rules. Compare carefully.
